 O arqueólogo Walter Kaiser enumera as seguintes descobertas como sendo as dez mais importantes da arqueologia Bíblica:

1. Os amuletos de Ketef Hinnon, contendo o mais antigo texto do Antigo Testamento (séc. VII a.C.);

3. Os manuscritos do Mar Morto;

4. A pintura de Beni Hasan, revelando como era a cultura patriarcal 19 séculos antes de Cristo;

5. A estrela de basalto de Dã, descoberta em 1993, que provou, sem sombra de dúvidas, a existência do rei Davi;

6. O tablete 11 do épico de Gilgamés, descoberto, em 1872, por George Smith, que provou a antigüidade do relato do dilúvio;

7. O tanque de Gibeão (mencionado em 2 Samuel 2:13 e Jeremias 41:12), descoberto em 1833, por Edward Robinson;

8. O selo de Baruque, descoberto em 1975, provando a existência do secretário e confidente do profeta Jeremias;

9. O palácio de Sargão II, rei da Assíria mencionado em Isaías 20:1, descoberto em 1843, por Paul Emile Botta, de cuja existência os
historiadores seculares duvidavam até essa descoberta;
